Each spring, Emancipet gathers more than 500 community leaders, volunteers, and philanthropists to celebrate another successful year of serving pets and their people, and to share a peek at what the future holds.
Some highlights from Emancipet’s recent work include:
- In 2016, Emancipet spayed or neutered more than 30,000 pets and provided more than 100,000 visits for basic care through our network of low-cost clinics.
- Emancipet opened a new brick-and-mortar clinic in Houston’s East End in December 2016.
- Emancipet’s Killeen clinic provided a record total of nearly 10,000 Healthy Pet visits and 5,000 spay/neuter surgeries in the fast-growing Bell County area, which includes Fort Hood.
- Emancipet’s Philadelphia branch – our first clinic outside of Texas – is fully staffed and started serving the community in February 2017.
