Executive Assistant, Office of the CEO
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Executive Assistant provides executive administrative support to the CEO and the Board of Directors. You would handle all scheduling and administrative duties for the CEO, serving as a gatekeeper and as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders (staff, board members, donors, partners) on all matters pertaining to the Office of the CEO. You would organize and coordinate internal and external relations efforts for the CEO and create materials to support this (board packets, presentations, educational materials, infographics, internal newsletters, etc). You would help to manage the CEO’s consulting and speaking engagements, including creating materials, negotiating with clients, and booking travel. You’d oversee a variety of special projects for the CEO related to the organization’s growth, fundraising, marketing, and operations.
In supporting the board, you would maintain the board portal (we use BoardEffect) and create all communications for the board of directors and support the Secretary’s governance and documentation duties. You would set up board meetings and events, handle all scheduling and administrative duties for the board, and book travel, meals, and other coordination as needed.
This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who wants an inside view to managing growth in a social enterprise, and who has a special interest in the role of communications in this unique environment.

Is It You?
There’s a chance you may be the one we’ve been looking for if you meet the description above, and if:
Organizing is your superpower. The Container Store is your idea of heaven. You probably even color code your closet.
You never forget a special occasion and you could probably sustain a major bonfire with your stash of ready-to-send birthday cards (not that you would ever burn them! The horror!)
You live for details. All the pictures on your walls are perfectly coordinated, leveled, and aligned. Being off a centimeter would drive you nuts.
