Dental Cleaning

Who’s it for?

Any pet that is determined to have dental disease by their veterinarian. Your pet may give you a clue that they have dental disease if you notice a bad odor coming from their mouth, see discolored or broken teeth, or notice them having difficulty eating. If any of these symptoms are observed, notify one of our veterinarians at the time of your pet’s Healthy Pet Service exam.

How much does it cost?

$225 for routine; $425 for advanced

Why should I do it & what does it do?

Dental disease is common as pets mature. If left untreated, pain and tooth loss may result making it difficult for your pet to eat, groom itself, and remain comfortable. If dental treatment is needed, your pet will be anesthetized and each tooth will be examined, cleaned, and receive any further treatment necessary to resolve the disease process.

Please Note

Emancipet veterinarians are highly skilled clinicians and surgeons. However, we do want to make sure you’re well aware of any risk that applies to your pet. If your pet’s procedure is considered high risk, you will be asked to sign a form acknowledging the elevated risk.
