Central Austin Clinic

COVID-19 Updates

In light of the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the spread of COVID-19, we’re providing mostly curbside service for both our walk-in and scheduled appointments and asking our clients to wear masks and practice physical distancing when they visit – and, of course, if they feel unwell, to take good care of themselves and come see us when they’re feeling better.

Since the start of this crisis, we’ve done everything we can to keep our staff, clients, and patients as safe as possible – all while continuing to provide essential services and pursue our goal of ensuring that everyone has access to veterinary care they can afford.

About Our Central Austin Vet Clinic

Our Central Austin low cost vet clinic is located in Norwood Park, by Wal-Mart, right at 183 & I-35. With it’s large floor plan, our vet clinic has plenty of seating and offers heartworm treatment, spay/neuter, and vaccination services to name a few.

Please note, all Emancipet vet clinics are staffed by licensed, trained veterinarians and veterinary technicians, and each clinic offers a unique set of services based on the needs in their local communities, but please note — we are NOT full-service veterinary providers. If we do not offer a veterinary service you need for your pet, we are happy to refer you to a full-service provider in your area. When you visit our Central Austin vet clinic, one of our caring veterinary technicians will walk you through our services to help you decide what your pet needs.

Low Cost Pet Services

Affordable Spay & Neuter

Low-cost spay/neuter services are offered Monday through Saturday at our Central Austin vet clinic. Please note, spay/neuter surgeries require appointments.

Getting your dog or cat spayed or neutered is a personal choice and one that comes with many medical benefits. If you’re unsure about the process, not sure how old your pet has to be to qualify for the surgery or if you simply want more information, please check out our Spay/Neuter FAQ Guide.

Healthy Pet Services

We also offer walk-in preventive care at this location – something we like to call Healthy Pet Services. These services include: vaccinations, microchipping, flea and heartworm prevention. No appointment is required for these services, which are provided by a staff veterinarian.
