Emancipet, the largest nonprofit in the US providing low-cost veterinary care with three clinic locations in Houston, announced today it will be hosting Cocktails, Canines & Cats LIVE MusicFest on Friday, October 27, 2023.
Cocktails, Canines & Cats LIVE MusicFest will feature THEBROSFRESH, DJ Dayta, and the JoiLux Band. The show will be held at Club 40 Below at the Bayou Music Center beginning at 6 pm on October 27.
All ticket proceeds benefit Emancipet and its mission to provide affordable, accessible, quality veterinary care for all.

THEBROSFRESH
Showcasing sounds that pay homage to their R&B/soul, southern hip-hop, and rock upbringing in Louisiana, THEBROSFRESH are establishing a new perspective to what’s “southern.” Hard-hitting percussion and aural aggression meet a smooth sensibility and aesthetic in a way that has never been experienced.
JoiLux Band
JoiLux Band is a high energy band, bringing a fresh twist on your favorite songs from Bruno Mars to The Bee Gees or Shania Twain to Beyonce. This group sets the tone for all walks of life to excitingly enter the dance floor.
DJ Dayta
Trent Icaza aka DJ Dayta is a veteran in the Houston music community. His resume includes Free Press Summer Fest, ACL Fest, Heights White Linen Night, and notable clients include MFAH (Mixed Media events), Lululemon, Reliant Energy, Toyota, Jack Daniels and Red Bull.
