Humane Future Council

About the HFC

After nearly fifteen years of serving the people and pets of Central Texas, spaying or neutering more than 185,000 pets, and helping to make Austin a leading city in animal welfare, Emancipet has launched an expansion plan to create a more humane future for animals and their people nationwide. Emancipet is expanding by opening new Emancipet clinics in underserved communities and by training other spay/neuter clinics to increase their capacity, impact, and sustainability.

Now, with the support of a generous anonymous donor, Emancipet has created the Humane Future Council for the purposes of providing a consistent source of funding for the growth plan and inspiring donors to increase their level of engagement and philanthropy. The Humane Future Council pools the annual contributions of an exclusive and trusted group of Emancipet donors who are deeply committed to building a more humane future for animals and the people who love them. Council members will receive meaningful recognition for their exceptional level of support for Emancipet’s growth, as well as opportunities for deeper involvement with the growth plan and Emancipet’s leadership.
