Partnered with the City of Austin to offer free services to its residents.
First brick and mortar clinic opened in East Austin, TX.
Emancipet totaled three brick and mortar clinics in Central Texas and expanded to Houston.
Merged with Animal Trustees of Austin (ATA), another low-cost veterinary provider.
Opened the Philadelphia, PA clinic, celebrated 275,000 pets spayed/neutered since 1999, and provided three months of free vet care after Hurricane Harvey.
Hosted a Spayathon in Puerto Rico in partnership with the Humane Society of the United States.
Grew to four brick and mortar clinics and two mobile clinics in Central Texas, three clinics in Houston, and two clinics in Philadelphia.
My hope for the future is that Emancipet will continue to bring more love into the world by providing high quality veterinary care for those who would otherwise fall into the access to veterinary care gap. … My hope for the future is that we just keep going.
