Join Me for Emancipet’s Wag and Walk Wellness Challenge!

Hello, Emancipet friends and family!

As the new CEO of Emancipet, I couldn’t be more excited to kick off 2025 by introducing myself and inviting you to join a special event that combines three of my favorite things: pets, community, and making a difference.

Starting January 14, I’ll be participating in Emancipet’s Wag and Walk Wellness Challenge, and I’d love for you to join me!

The Wag and Walk Challenge is the perfect way to kick off the new year while supporting Emancipet’s mission to make high-quality, low-cost veterinary care accessible to all. To participate, all you have to do is sign up, set your personal walking goal, grab your leash and your dog, and start walking! Whether you’re aiming to log a mile a day or take a leisurely stroll around the block, every step you take helps pets and families.

Why This Challenge Matters

At Emancipet, we believe that every pet needs and deserves veterinary care to keep them healthy and happy for their entire lives. But we know that sometimes a visit to the vet is financially out of reach for some families, and inaccessible in some communities. We’re here to change that. For 25 years, our work has been powered by people like you—pet lovers and advocates who believe in making care affordable and accessible. By joining the Wag and Walk Challenge, you’re not only improving your own wellness but also helping Emancipet continue to provide life-changing care to pets in underserved communities.

Here’s How It Works:

  1. Sign Up: Register for the challenge here. 
  2. Set up your Fundraising page: Create a fundraising page to rally support from friends, family, and coworkers. Invite others to join and participate in the challenge, too.
  3. Share Your Goal: Choose your walking goal or intention for the challenge, and share on your fundraising page if you wish to! 
  4. Walk Together: And share! Tag @ Emancipet on social media, and we’ll reshare your pictures and videos. Know that every step makes a difference.

Being new to the Emancipet team, I’ve been inspired by the dedication and passion of the communities Emancipet is a part of. The Wag and Walk Challenge is the perfect way for us to connect, have fun, and make a meaningful impact together. I’ll be walking alongside and cheering you on every step of the way.
