This year at Emancipet has been extraordinary. In my first year as CEO, I’ve seen firsthand how expanding our core services, creating ease for clients to access services at our clinics, and providing life-changing care for pets is only possible because of our incredible community.
Thanks to clients, donors, partners, and stakeholders who Pay It Forward for other pet families, we have been able to deliver affordable, high-quality veterinary care to more than 250,000 pets across 11 clinics this year – and we still have a few weeks to go! I’m excited to share some of our biggest highlights from 2025, an inspiring story of impact, and an invitation to help us continue closing the access-to-care gap in 2026.
Our 2025 Highlights:
Launched Healthy Pet Service appointments and online booking for spay/neuter and preventive care across our clinics in Houston, Philadelphia, and Central Texas, further extending access to veterinary care for pet families.
Relaunched our Central Texas Regional Low-Cost Mobile Spay/Neuter Clinic, bringing care to communities outside of Austin, and serving more pet families with affordable spay/neuter care.
Our Austin Dental & Surgical Center broke even in just 15 months—a milestone that typically takes three years. We continue to serve Central Texas pet families through our Austin Dental and Surgical Center with affordable dental care and surgeries for dogs and cats. Here’s a story of the impact of ADS.
In Houston, we doubled access to heartworm treatment and launched a city partnership to host a massive pop-up clinic next spring. More on that below!
Support from our communities makes all of this possible. And the impact shows up every day in the lives of pet families like Fluffy’s.
Fluffy’s Story: Care That Meant a Second Chance
When Fluffy’s family discovered she had a tumor, they didn’t know where to turn. A kind stranger told them about Emancipet. That same day, Fluffy received life-saving surgery at our Austin Dental & Surgical Center.

The Power of Paying It Forward
Because of donors and clients who Pay It Forward, we’ve cared for over 250,000 pets across our 11 clinics so far this year—keeping pets healthy, happy, and safe at home. More than 298,000 clients have paid it forward, raising over $3 million to help other pet families in need.
