PetSmart Charities has invested over $7.3 million in support of Emancipet’s most important projects. Our first grant from PetSmart Charities came in 2005, allowing us to purchase equipment for our very first brick and mortar clinic in Austin, Texas. Since then, PetSmart Charities has been the sole funder of our Adams Avenue branch in Philadelphia, our Northwest Freeway branch in Houston, our Roosevelt Blvd branch in Philadelphia, and our new Dental & Surgical Center opening later this year in Austin, and helped us open our Houston Monroe branch. They have also funded capacity building projects such as a grant to help us solidify and document our unique financial model, and the funds to create our Clinic Opening and Quality Assurance Team to help us scale up and open new clinics more quickly.
