Meet the Winners
Stella joined her family at just one month old back in 2019. She started coming to Emancipet last year, and has received all essential Healthy Pet Services including vaccines, heartworm prevention, nail trims, anal gland expressions and she even uses our shampoo that treats dermatitis (itchy skin).
Stella’s human, Elizabeth, calls her the “best and sweetest girl ever.” She said, “She completes our family and is best daughter ever.”
Runner-up Thomas was brought to Emancipet for a neuter surgery without a forever home. Dr. Sthanu, lead veterinarian at Emancipet Killeen, heard that he was looking for a new home, fell in love with him, and the rest is history!
“Thomas fit in beautifully with our pack of other dogs of all sizes,” said Dr. Sthanu. “Like most chihuahuas, he is tiny but mighty. He loves all sorts of toys and playing with his doggy brofurs and sisfurs. Thomas is very affectionate and loves to cuddle with his humans. One of his favorite places to hang out is on our shoulders, like a parrot!”
