Celebrating 1.5 Million All-Time Healthy Pet Services Visits with Tux and Tilly

This October, we celebrated an incredible milestone at Emancipet: our 1.5 millionth all-time Healthy Pet Services (HPS) visit! We were thrilled that this special moment in our 25 years came during a visit from Kemah and her family to our Northwest Freeway Clinic in Houston, TX. Their story is a testament to the impact affordable veterinary care can have on pets and the people who love them.

Kemah’s journey with Emancipet began over the summer when two puppies were found in their neighborhood. What started as an effort to find fosters for the pups turned to Kemah’s family taking in the puppies themselves, naming them Tux and Tilly.

Tux, with his shiny black coat, white chest, and one white “sock,” is a lively now 8-month old puppy who looks like a mini lab. His sister Tilly, a blue heeler and Catahoula mix with a stunning multi-colored coat, matches his energy and charm. Together, the pair has brought boundless joy to the household, winning the hearts of their human family. 

Finding High Quality, Affordable Care

Determined to ensure Tux and Tilly were healthy and well cared for, Kemah’s family researched veterinary options and chose Emancipet for their spay/neuter surgeries, as well as for their exams,  vaccinations, and microchips.
