When Paula adopted her kitten, Sully, in 2020, finding affordable veterinary care during the pandemic wasn’t easy.
“I had tried to schedule getting him neutered with my vet but with Covid they were not available. I tried a bunch of other vets but no luck. I found Emancipet via an online search, called, and was given an appointment on the day I needed—with no issues.”
Paula was nervous about Sully’s surgery, but the Emancipet team put her at ease.
“They were attentive and caring, addressing all of my concerns and questions and providing me with detailed instructions for a safe recovery.”

“I believe that pets are family and should receive care,” Paula says. “That care goes beyond the basic needs of food, water and shelter, to include getting pets their current vaccines and spay/neutered, so they can live their best, healthiest life. That level of care can get expensive. Having an organization like Emancipet to help make that more affordable is an incredible benefit to our community.”
Today, Paula pays it forward with a donation monthly to ensure other pet families have the same access to care that helped her and Sully.
